the exclusive amenities fulfilled all my luxurious needs, especially the Spa & wellness center that offered a wide range of services. the Outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi were pristine and perfect for relaxation.
this was easily overlooked as the other amenities and activities provided by this hotel were exceptional.

OUTSTANDING & AMAZING
General information: This trip was just OUTSTANDING & AMAZING. Out third time in Dominican Republic, but first time in Riu Plalce Bavaro, but without doubt “This is the best and favorite hotel we stayed in this beautiful country, we are looking to come back”. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and especially Yaslanda Batista in Customer Service, she deserves a special “Thanks”. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was really good at the buffet at the restaurants were amazing. The rooms were fabulous, modern and extremely clean. Animation team is great, they offer entertainment during the day and evening, every day, special mention to ‘Black Pearl & Sexy Bella”. The beach and pools were awesome and plenty of drinks. One last note, please tip for your services. I know it says it is all included, but in our opinion, the better you tip the more you will be taken care of. We can't wait to return!!!! All respect for all employee, who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! We stayed from June 5 to 12, 2016 in Room 114

Spent Christmas vacation here and had a great time! Loved the friendly and accommodating staff, who always made sure we had fresh towels and plenty of drinks by the pool. the beach was stunning with crystal-clear waters and soft sand. Another plus was the location, right near some amazing local restaurants and a bustling nightlife.
The resort itself could use some updating, as the rooms and lobby had a bit of a dated feel. the food was just okay and could have been better quality for the price.
